Sun tea

June 7, 2012

While I’m plugging away at Another cuppa  — two repeats down — I can show you my first Afternoon tea. This is Sun tea, so named because the yarn was a lovely shade called Tequila Sunrise, from Dizzy Blonde. Lovely yarn, lovely color.

(It’s so hard to show off a shawl without looking at least a little bit ridiculous.)

Like I said, it knit up really quickly, though the picot bindoff probably took two nights of knitting time if not three, and nearly drove me insane. And then I pinned out every little one of those points, too.

Damn, I just realized I’m going to have to pin out all of those little points again. I clearly didn’t think this through.

Very lovely, the shade will be a perfect fall complement.

Oh my word — your shawl is gorgeous! You’re so talented, and I’ve got to say that the photos aren’t the least bit ridiculous. They’re artful and you look lovely!
